8Beats School Dance Competition for 2023 is here!
Join us at The Lyric, Gold Reef City, to witness a celebration of the arts through choreography, singing and dancing from 14 – 16 August 2023.
8Beats School Dance Competition has created an opportunity for school children from West Rand, East Rand, Pretoria and Rustenburg to create their own theatrical production. Each participating group consists of 50-100 learners and must choose their own theme, costumes and performance to create a complete 15 minute production.
This year there will be 35 schools groups competing in 3 different categories:
Junior Category 5-9 years on the 14th of August 2023
Senior Category 9-13 years on the 16th of August 2023
High School Category 13-18 years on the 15th of August 2023
