THE HEAT IS ON

1. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion.
2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into the category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion.

This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.

Midway Draw

4. This promotion is open to Gold Reef City Black reward cardholders only.
5. Participants earn points by playing slots or tables whilst using their Gold Reef City Rewards card.
6. The top 400 Slots and Top 200 Tables Black cardholder patrons will be determined by points earned from 08h00 on 15 September 2023 until 08h00 on 13 October 2023.
7. Slots points only will account for the Top 400 Slots patrons and Tables Points only will account for the Top 200 Tables Patrons and tickets will be issued based on this.
8. Every 20,000 points earned = 1 ticket into the midway draw.
9. At the midway draw, winners can only win once.
10. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration.
11. All draws will be Manual draws whereby prize winners will be selected via the traditional draw method.
12. There will be 2 draws on the day at 19h00, 2 finalists will be drawn and at 21h00 an additional 3 finalists will be drawn. After the 21h00 finalist draw, the main draw will commence Qualifiers will need to enter the draws by printing their ticket/s at any e-Host on draw day and entering their ticket/s into the draw bin provided in the Prive.
13. Draw tickets can be printed and entered from 12h00 until 21h00.
14. Prize winners who are present will be given 90 seconds to present themselves and must be in possession of evidence of the winning ticket and must produce a positive and acceptable form of identification.
15. Should the prize winner not present themselves within 90 seconds, a re-draw will take place.
16. Patrons can only win once per promotional day and tickets will be capped at a maximum of 50 per draw.
17. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration.
18. Prize Winners will be selected by way of a random draw. Draw times and dates; and points criteria to earn tickets will be advertised through advertising mediums used for this promotion.
19. Ticket earning is unlimited; however, participants can only win once per draw day.
20. Participants must activate their entry into the draw(s), on the day of the draw(s) prior to the actual draw(s) within the specified times during which the eHosts are open. The opening and closing times for the eHosts will be advertised through mediums used within the casino.

Guaranteed spots in the Grand final car draw

21. There will be 8 finalist positions up for grabs in the Grand Final draw as follows:

• The Top 2 Slot and Top 2 Tables Black cardholders from 08h00 on 15 September 2023 to 08h00 on 13 October 2023 will receive guaranteed spots into the final car draw which will take place on 17 November 2023 at 21h00.
• Plus the Top 2 Slot and Top 2 Tables Black cardholders from 08h00 on 13 October 2023 until 08h00 on 17 November 2023 will receive guaranteed spots into the final car draw which will take place on 17 November 2023 at 21h00.

22. Slots points only will account for the Top 2 Slots patrons and Tables Points only will account for the Top 2 Tables Patrons.

Grand Final draw

23. The Top 400 Slot and Top 200 Black cardholders based on points for the promotional period will receive entries for Every 20,000 points earned, points earning period for the Final draw: is from 08h00 on 15 Sept 2023 until 08h00 on 17 November 2023
24. 4 finalists will be selected at this draw plus the 8 from the guaranteed spots. A total of 12 finalists will participate in the Cash and Car prize on the night.
25. A finalist can have a maximum of 2 positions/spots in the final draw.
26. Participants enter the draw by printing their ticket/s at any e-Host on draw days and depositing them into the draw entry bin provided in the Prive between 12h00 and 21h00.
27. The ehosts will be open from 12h00 to 21h00 on draw days for draw tickets. Draws will be done via a traditional manual tombola draw.
28. There will be 2 draws on the day at 19h00, 2 finalists will be drawn and at 21h00 an additional 3 finalists will be drawn. After the 21h00 finalist draw, the main draw will commence.

Weekly FreePlay rewards

29. The Top 100 Weekly Slots and Top 50 Weekly Tables points earners will receive Guaranteed FreePlay rewards @ 5% of their play capped at R30,000 from a Friday at 08h00 until the next Friday at 08h00.

32. Qualifiers will be notified via SMS and telephonic communication.
33. Participants must activate their entry into the draw(s), on the day of the draw(s) prior to the actual draw(s) within the specified times during which the entry activations are open. The opening and closing times for the entry activations will be advertised through mediums used within the casino
34. If a participant declines to be present at the live draw, he/she must nominate a person to stand in on his/her behalf and both the participant and nominee must present a positive and acceptable form of identification and both parties must complete and sign the proxy form.
35. Prize winners who are present will be verified and must be in possession of evidence of the winning ticket and/or Rewards card belonging to the winner; and a positive and acceptable form of identification.
36. All Participants are required to be present at the live draw on the respective date/time to be eligible for a Prize: Provided that if a participant elects not to be present in person when the winner/s are announced, the participant may nominate another person who has been duly authorized in writing to attend the draw on behalf of a participant in the form and manner determined by management, the details of which will be available at the Customer Service Desk. Prescribed proxy forms will be available for this purpose from 08h00 until 15 minutes prior to the start of the draw.
37. Prize winners and proxies who are present will be given 90 seconds to present themselves and must be in possession of evidence of the winning ticket and must produce a positive and acceptable form of identification.
38. Authorized representatives shall not be entitled to any prizes and shall not take receipt of prizes accruing to the Participants they represent.
39. Should the prize winner or authorized representative for the prize winner not present themselves within 90 seconds, a re-draw will take place.
40. Prizes are to be collected and signed for the receipt thereof by the relevant Prize Winner (not representative), as the case may be, within 15 days from the date of the draw from the casino where the prize(s) were won. The casino shall take all reasonable steps to contact the prize winner via the contact details provided in the proxy nomination form or otherwise readily available.
41. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes.
42. Draw times and dates, and qualification criteria will be advertised through advertising mediums used for this promotion.
43. Prize winners will be required to produce a positive and acceptable form of identification to be verified as a winner.
44. All prizes must be claimed from Gold Reef City Casino within 15 days from the day of the draw.
45. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.
46. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
47. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management.
48. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
49. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force;
