How do I earn tickets?

Queen Tier Cardholders will receive tickets as follows:

10+ 100 100 tickets will be issued on the 10th trip onwards

 

Draws will take place every Thursday and qualifying cardholders can print tickets at the eHost from 12h00 on draw days

Ticket earnings will be calculated weekly from the beginning of each month until the day before each draw.

 

How do I know if I’m a winner?

Our Electronic Draw System, TEEDS will be used to select 5 winners at each draw

 Draws will take place at 20h00 on Thursdays

Draws will take place at the promotional stage

Winners will have 90 seconds to present themselves with valid identification ((SA ID, Driving License, or Valid Passport) and their ticket receipt.

If the winner/proxy does not show up in time, an alternative winner will be chosen (i.e., a redraw will take place).

Participants can only win once per draw.

 If the progressive prize is not won, it will roll-over weekly and increase by R5,000 weekly.

The Progressive will be guaranteed on 27 June 2024 and will be split equally amongst the 5 winners if not won on the day.

You will need to be verified using positive identification like a valid SA I.D/SA driver’s license or passport.

  1. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion.
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into the category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion.
  3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  4. This promotion is open to Selected Gold Reef City Queen cardholders with an Average Spend of R500 per visit or a minimum spend of R5, 000 or more over a 12-month period.
  5. This draw will take place on Thursday – 1 February at the Main Promotional stage.
  6. Qualify Draw times are as follows:

  1. Qualifying cardholders will each receive tickets into their respective draw based on time their tickets were printed as follows:

  1. These draws are electronic draw which will utilize the Teeds system which will select winners randomly.
  2. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration.
  3. Qualifiers will need to enter the draw by printing their ticket/s at any e-Host on draw day.
  4. Draw tickets can be printed and entered from 12h00 until 20h59.
  5. Prize winners who are present will be given 90 seconds to present themselves and must be in possession of evidence of the winning ticket and must produce positive and acceptable form of identification.
  6. Should the prize winner not present themselves within 90 seconds, a re-draw will take place.
  7. Patrons can only win once per promotional day.
  8. Prize Winners will be selected by way of a random draw. Draw times and dates; and points criteria to earn tickets, will be advertised through advertising mediums used for this promotion.
  9. Participants must activate their entry into the draw, on the day of the draw prior to the actual draw(s) within the specified times during which the eHosts are open. The opening and closing times for the eHosts will be advertised through mediums and will be communicated via SMS to the qualifiers.
  10. If a participant declines to be present at the live draw, he/she must nominate a person to stand in on his/her behalf and both the participant and nominee must present positive and acceptable form of identification and both parties must complete and sign the proxy form.
  11. Prize winners who are present will be given 90 seconds to present themselves and must be in possession of evidence of the winning ticket and/or Rewards card belonging to the winner; and a positive and acceptable form of identification.
  12. All Participants are required to be present at the live draw on the respective date/time to be eligible for a Prize: Provided that if a participant elects not to be present in person when the winner/s are announced, the participant may nominate another person who has been duly authorized in writing to attend the draw on behalf of a participant in the form and manner determined by management, the details of which will be available at the Customer Service Desk. Prescribed proxy forms will be available for this purpose from 12h00 until 15 minutes prior to the start of the draw.
  13. Prize winners and proxies who are present will be given 90 seconds to present themselves and must be in possession of evidence of the winning ticket and must produce positive and acceptable form of identification.
  14. Authorized representatives shall not be entitled to any prizes and shall not take receipt of prizes accruing to the Participants they represent.
  15. Should the prize winner or authorized representative for the prize winner not present themselves within 90 seconds, a re-draw will take place.
  16. Prizes are to be collected and signed for the receipt thereof by the relevant Prize Winner (not representative), as the case may be, within 15 days from the date of the draw from the casino where the prize(s) were won. The casino shall take all reasonable steps to contact the prize winner via the contact details provided in the proxy nomination form or otherwise readily available.
  17. Prizes are not transferrable.
  18. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes.
  19. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.
  20. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
  21. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management.
  22. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
  23. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force;
